[Achievement Unlocked]: Zelda BoTW and Final Fantasy XV

Year 2017 is quite happy gaming time for me, I bought two different consoles because of game that I really want to play:
  • Nintendo Switch: it's purely love at the first sight, I'm really impressed with the brilliant idea of console that can be used for home console and handheld console. And when they announce it will release with Zelda: Breath of the Wild game, I know for sure I should get this console. Because I play all Zelda series in GameBoy, NDS, 3DS, Wii, and Wii U.
  • Sony PlayStation 4: I'm actually a late adopter of this console because there's no game that I really want to play, until Capcom announce about Monster Hunter: World during E3 event, for January 2018 release. I'm so excited because I'm really big fan of Monster Hunter franchise since the PSP version and it's the game I play with most long hours with my friends. So I know soon or later I need to have PS4. Other than that, I also want to play Final Fantasy XV. So when I saw PS4 promotion in Lazada, I decided to buy it.
Short story, I managed to complete these 2 awesome games this year. It's quite big achievement for me, because they require dedication and commitment to play which is need quite long hours to explore big world map for leveling up or just grinding, complete awesome main story quests and challenging side quests. :)
  • Zelda: Breath of the Wild, complete on June 2017

  • Final Fantasy XV, complete on November 2017

Other best thing and memorable memories I experience in 2017 is the opportunity to watch musical orchestra from both franchise:
  • The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess on 26 August at Mastercard Theatres, Singapore. Couple years ago when I google if there's any musical orchestra for Zelda, I found about Symphony of the Goddesses, but sadly they only have the performance in US and Canada and the nearest is Japan. So I purposely subscribe into their mail newsletter for any show information and send message to beg them to come to South Asia. I think many Zelda fans do the same as I do, and when I saw email they will have the performance at Singapore, without any hesitation I bough the ticket.

  • Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy on 18 October at Plenary Hall KLCC, Malaysia. It's not the first time I watch Distant Worlds performance, I already fall in love with them since back then in year 2012 when my friend brought me to watch this orchestra at Dewan Filharmonic KLCC. So when they come again to Malaysia for Final Fantasy 30th anniversary, I decide to book their ticket.
